Beauty Wishlist

Hey everyone,

So i've noticed lately that there are a lot of new and old things out there to buy that I've been wanting for a long time or would love to try out... so I thought i'd put it all together and show you and it might tickle your fancy :D

Lets get into it...

1. Benefit Lollitint -

So I've seen this quite a few times recently and didn't realise it existed until a few weeks ago but now I've found it I would definitely love to get it in the future! It is another one of Benefit's lip and cheek stains and its in this pretty girly pink colour. I already have Benefit's highbeam and benetint and i'm very pleased with the consistency of them and how they blend out easily.

2. Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blush -

My mum has quite a few of these watercolour blushes and they are very pretty and so much easier to blend than regular cream blushes. I love all of the shades of these blushes but the one that caught my eye was the blush in the shade 'Charm'. It's such a natural pinky peach colour and one that I would opt to wear on an everyday basis.

3. Mac Pro Longwear Paint Pot in 'Painterly' -

I've seen Mac's paint pots around for such a long time now and I still haven't got around to getting any but if I were to get a shade, I would definitely opt for 'Painterly'. It looks like such a good neutral base that will cover up any extra redness that concealer doesn't cover up and will give any eye product something to cling to and not slide about or rub off.

4. Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer in 'Apocalyptic' -

Another thing that I'd love to treat myself to is one of the Rimmel Apocalips lip lacquers in the shade 'Apocalyptic'. Out of all of the shades this one stood out to me and its not just because its one of the brightest hehe... I like to sometimes mix up what I wear on my lips and this fuchsia pink is definitely something I would want to make work.

5. Sleek Brow Kit in 'Light' -

At the moment, I don't often do a lot with my eyebrows only really filling them in a little bit with an eye shadow but I would definitely like to purchase something like this sleek brow kit to get myself into a routine of filling them in and making them look sleek. (haha pardon the pun)

6. Happy Light Luminous Serum Primer -

I don't own many primers but whilst I was out in superdrugs a few weeks ago, I spotted this and nearly brought it and definitely regret that I put it back. I think if I started to wear a primer under my makeup it will last much longer.

7. OPI Matte Top Coat -

I've seen many different matte top coats out there that bloggers and youtubers have reviewed but in my opinion this OPI one looked the best with all of the swatches. It's also from a brand I know well and have tried out many if their products.

8. Revlon Matte Balm -

I've seen this online quite a bit and I'd love to get some and try them out... I own a few jumbo balm sticks and some matte lip lipsticks but never the two different things in one product. I can't pick a colour but I love the one in the picture I chose which is a deep plumy colour.

9. Eos lip balm -

I've had an eos lip balm before ... I think I owned the strawberry scented one and it really helped moisturise my lips and make them softer especially during the winter. Again I don't might which one I'd get and the one in the picture I think is the sweet mint one.

10. Maybelline Colour Tattoo in 'Metallic Pomegranate' -

Finally... This is another base product haha but I already have the 'rose gold' pinky shade (I think that's what it's called) I think last year dark reds and plum colours really came into fashion and I still of it and this is something I wanted to get then but just didn't get round to getting it.

I hope you enjoyed reading this :D sorry for my absence on here but I've had a lot of schoolwork to catch up on and I've been trying to get back into the routine of writing blog posts x

Deborah Lippmann Best of Both Worlds Pop Rock Set

Hey everyone,

So lately I've really been enjoying posting regularly so today I thought I'd do another post and show you what I just received in the mail.

I brought this on the lookfantastic website... here: http://www.lookfantastic.com/deborah-lippmann-best-of-both-worlds-pop-rock-set-limited-edition-2-x-8ml/10877367.html I'd recently seen this online and resist getting them!

This is what it looks like in all of it's packaging... I brought this limited edition set for £17 from lookfantastic with free delivery which I thought was really good!

This is what the back of the packaging looks like...

I absolutely love the little bag it comes with:

The little bag is covered in mulit-coloured glitter with silver detailing. The only small downside about this packaging is that some of the glitter particles do come off but there is definitely enough glitter for it to stay sparkly!

Inside of the bag are two of Deborah Lippmann's Mini nail varnishes in the shades 'She Bop' and 'Happy Birthday'.

The shade 'Happy Birthday' matches the small pouch and looks as if it contains the same glitter particles.

This is what 'Happy Birthday' looks like:

And the shade 'She Bop':

I hope you enjoyed this little post! Get the set whilst you can because it's gorgeous! Hopefully in the future I might paint my nails with the colours and show you some swatches :D

My Everyday Makeup Routine

Hey everyone,

So today I thought I'd show you my everyday makeup... so lets get into it :D

Face...

L-R Benefit Triple Emulsion Moisturiser, Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in no.1 Fair
I start of by applying any moisturiser to my face then use my collection lasting perfection concealer to cover up any discoloration, under eye circles and red spots.

Rimmel Stay Matte powder in 006 Warm Beige and Real Techniques Buffing Brush

The I set that all with my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 006 - Warm beige using my real techniques buffing brush.

Real Techniques Multi Task Brush, Elf blush and bronzer duo and Rimmel Match perfection blush - 001 Light

The I took my Real Techniques Multi Task Brush and took my Elf blush and bronzer duo and contoured and then took my new Rimmel Match perfection blush in 001-Light and applied to the apples of my cheeks and on top of my cheek bones.

Then I took my £3 MUA Undress Your Skin highlighter and the Real Techniques contour brush and dusted it on the tops of my cheek bones, down the center of my nose and on my cupids bow.

Now onto eyes...

Real Techniques Domed Shadow Brush
Taking my real techniques domed shadow brush, I chose any colour from the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette.. today I used the shade 'Buzz' and applied this all over my lid and blended it out for a subtle rosey look then took the lightest shade - strange and applied this in the inner corner of my eye and under my brow bone to lighten up my eyes, give dimension and to make me look more awake.

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

Then I took my Rimmel Scandaleyes eyeliner in 005 Nude and applied to my inner waterline to make my eyes bigger and brighter.

Then I took my new Revlon Eyelash curler and curled my eyelashes and applied a generous coat of the Revlon Lash Potion Mascara to my top and bottom eyelashes.

Then taking my big W7 Neutrals Palette, I took my most used brown shaded with an angled shadow brush by Laura Geller and filled in the shape of my eyebrows to make them look a bit less sparse.

Then I used my MUA £1 Clear Mascara and made sure they will stay in place...

MUA Clear Mascara - Shade 1

And finally onto lips...

I usually like to wear any lip balm I have then a light lipgloss or lipstick. Normally I use this free baby lips lip balm I got in a promotion offer in Boots and my Revlon Lipgloss in the Shade 004 Pink Ice.

Mini makeup and beauty haul

Hey everyone,

So I had a busy day shopping yesterday and spent some of my money on some items I've been wanting for a long time and have definitely been needing! P.s I brought everything mentioned from superdrugs x

So the first 2 things I brought were the Collection long lasting concealers in Fair-1 and Light-2. I wasn't sure which shade I was so I brought both. I've heard a lot about them on youtube and blogs. I have to say they definitely are well worth the amount of hype they have been given! I know I've only had them for a very very short time but so far I am very impressed. They give such good coverage and for such a small price I would definitely recommend them!

L-R Light,2 and Fair,1
I got mine for £4.19 each...

As you know if you read my previous blog posts, I've mentioned I loved the maybelline age rewind concealer and I definitely have and it's only just starting to dry up slightly which is why I needed to get a new concealer.

The next thing I also brought because I was running out of it and it is the Rimmel Stay matte powder in warm beige (006)

I've used this powder for about a year now and a few months ago hit pan on it and ever since then I seem to use it up so much quicker. So I brought the same powder in the same shade for £3.99. Which is really affordable and lasts a long time.

I the brought an eyelash curler. My eyelashes never really curl up so I thought id buy an eyelash curler and start curling my eyelashes to see if it makes a difference. I brought my one for £6.99. I could have brought a cheaper one for about £4 but I thought this one would be better for the price and it looked pretty hehe

I brought the Revlon Diamond Collection lash curler which is hot pink and has pink diamontes on the top part which is so cute and girly. I think it makes a difference but I'm not really sure if I'm using it right at the moment because it's my first eyelash curler :)

I was also needing a new mascara so I brought the Revlon lash potion for £5 and I'm going to see if I like it. So far it looks fine, I've tried it out on my eyelashes and I like the look of it, it seperates them and makes them stand out.

I also love the packaging hehe :D (also, if you know any other mascaras that are good please leave me a comment below as I'm looking for more to try out x)

The final thing I brought I spotted as I was about to pay and it is the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. I brought it for £4.99 and adore it so far. It has to be the best cleanser and makeup remover I have ever used. For such a cheap price I couldn't resist trying it out and you get 400ml!!!!!!

When I use it, it takes off all of my makeup quickly and thoroughly and doesn't dry out quick so I have enough time to remove all of my makeup without having to keep applying more to the cotton pad, unlike previous cleansers and makeup removers I have used.

I hope you enjoyed this little haul, comment below any blog posts you'd like to see me do and tell me any cheeky purchases you've made recently x

December Favourites + What I got for Christmas video

Hey everyone,

So I thought that I'd share with you some of the products that I have been loving using throughout the month of December. Because Christmas was in December, I got many new things to try out including clothes, makeup and random bits.

I just uploaded my 'What I got for christmas 2013' so if you would like to check that out click here.

I hope you enjoy reading and comment below if you would like to see a YouTube video of me showing you the bits in more depth x

I'm going to chose 10 main favourites for December that I have been loving a lot. I'm going to make it fair by choosing  5 categories and 2 items for each :)

Categories:

~ Skincare
~ Makeup
~ Clothes and Jewelry
~ Phone apps
~ Random

Skincare:

The first product that I have been loving is a Benefit face moisturiser that I have had since October and I have used it every day since. It is the BENEFIT TOTAL MOISTURISER in the mini size. Throughout the winter and colder seasons, my skin tends to get really dry so I use this before I do my makeup everyday to ensure my skin gets proper treatment and so my makeup doesn't cling to the dry skin. It is very moisturising!

I love the packaging on all of Benefits new products which is definitely a bonus to this product!

Alternatively... I sometimes use the thinner moisturiser by Benefit which is the BENEFIT TRIPLE PERFORMING MOISTURISER.

Although this cream is a thinner consistency... It does the job well!

Makeup:

I know the next product I'm going to mention has been so popular and so many people have talked about it but I don't know how anyone couldn't like it... I'm talking about the URBAN DECAY NAKED 3 Palette. I've never owned a naked palette before and if I had to chose out of the three made it would definitely be this one.

I love that he palette has rosey colours in it instead of neutrals because it's so unique to any other palettes made.

Also in December, I'm not sure if this is a Skincare product or makeup but I've been loving using just a simple lip balm. Recently I went shopping and Maybelline were having some type of deal I think it was if you buy 2 nail varnishes you get 1 free and a free baby lips lip balm. I love to use the lip balm before I apply makeup and again before I put any lipstick on because it helps the lipstick to glide on better.

Clothes and Jewelry:

So I got this scarf for Christmas as you will have seen if you watched my 'What I got for Christmas 2013' video on YouTube. I have literally worn it everyday! Its the really huge soft tartan scarf from Zara:

My brother was so generous this Christmas and he brought it for me along with many other things mentioned in my video.  This scarf is so soft and although I only got it near the end of December if I had it earlier I would've worn it everyday especially in the colder weather.

My next favourite are my new Pia Silver Earrings. I forgot to mention these in my new video but I got them for Christmas and haven't taken them out since.

They are really pretty and girly and its nice to have a change from my regular gold diamond studs.

Phone apps:

So this category is a bit different because its not very beauty related but its nice to include a bit of everything.

So the first app is a social kind of app where you can follow people and save their pictures. This is WeHeartIt.

I've used weheartit for a long time now and have recently been finding myself hoping over onto it when I am bored. You can basically browse images you like and save them to your own page and save them to your phone as a background. You can get this app on Android and iPhone and it can be used in your internet browser aswell. :D

(let me know in the comments if you would like to see a whats on my phone - i have a Samsung galaxy s3) - kind of like the iPhone tag :) Also let me know if you would like to see a video on how I edit my instagram pictures and the apps I use :)

The next app I have been loving throughout December and many other months is Photowonder.

Before

After

I use this app on most of my photos for instagram to edit the brightness and contrast and sometimes to add a filter.  I love all of the functions this app provides and I would definitely recommend it! It's also very user friendly so you don't need to be an expert at photography to know how to use it :D

Random favourites:

So my random favourites really are going to include random things like food, games, home decor stuff etc...

So for the first random favourite I thought I'd mention my  ikea 'Trensum' mirror which was such a bargain for £3.50.

I have a light up mirror by No7 but it was a bit annoying cause it was chunky so I got this one and it's so much nicer to use and carry around my room.

My final random December favourite is Marzipan fruits. My family and I got gifted a small box of marzipan fruits and I absolutely love them.

Not only are they delicious but they look cute too!
(Sorry I couldn't photograph many but they were so delicious hehe)

I hope you enjoyed reading this post... I enjoyed making it <3
